Semester Recap

I found this class to be a useful introduction to the world of blogging. Most of the tools I tried were easy to learn and use. If I decide to maintain a real blog someday, I think a paid version of Wix (to remove the branding, etc.) would be a pretty good option. As usual YouTube is great for publishing video. I think the final project was my favorite because I was able to incorporate several elements that I had learned over the semester into one engaging post. I thought the 24LiveBlog site could have been more user-friendly.

I think my experience gained this semester could be used to promote my career as a professional writer. I’m working on book project about continuous yield gardening, and a blog would be a great way to promote its release and subsequent sales. I could also use some of the skills and knowledge gained to create more polished and engaging posts for the social media platforms I currently use.
